History

The History of Martin Funeral Home

Martin Funeral Home in Mansfield was established in 1929. Rice Funeral Home in Waldron was established in 1937.

In 1948 the two became partners. In 1962 the name was officially changed to Rice-Martin Funeral Home. In 1995 the business name was changed to Martin Funeral Homes, Inc., combining both locations. From their beginning both funeral homes strived to offer personal, sympathetic, caring service to the families they served. This is still our objective. They are still owned and operated by the Martins.
